Help for horse-riders

Introducing ...
Common-sense horsemanship

There is nothing new about Common-sense horsemanship.  It's the way people rode and handled horses before riding schools were invented.

The principle behind it is "minimum interference".  You tell the horse what to do and leave him to get on with it.  When you want him to do something else, you ask with one brief command which the horse understands immediately.

It's plain.  It's simple.
And it all makes perfect sense!

First, try the easy way!
Common-sense horsemanship takes the easiest route possible to a safe, sensible horse or pony that is willing and able to do anything.

A 'common-sense' horse is universally quiet and easy to handle in every respect.  He is willing and obedient.  He trusts and respects his owner/rider.

It's all in the training ...
Horses can be trained to do almost anything - but it is how they are trained which decides the outcome.  Common-sense horsemanship holds the key to a consistently successful result.

The answer to everything!
I believe that common-sense horsemanship is the answer to everything - including problem behavior.  The way horses and trained and riding is taught these days, problems are inevitable.

Common-sense horsemanship provides the answer to problem behaviour too.  If it makes sense to the horse, he'll do what you want.

Aims and ideas
Through this pages you will get some idea of handling, riding and training horses the common-sense way.  In terms of what exists today, it is unconventional, but let me assure you - it works without fail!

For a happy, harmonious relationship with your horse, common-sense horsemanship is the way to go!
