! did marry and raise three children, but that only brought more horses to
train, ride and enjoy. Over the years, what had started as one
all-round family cob (which I also trained myself) grew into a herd of twelve, all of them with problems one way
or another.
It
is largely through working with these horses and the determination to
bring them 'back
to normal' that I developed my unique, problem solving
techniques. Never having had any formal training, and therefore with
no preconceived ideas, I could only work from instinct.
The
results were amazing. Every single horse turned into a
horse-owner's dream. To be sure, they all had their odd
little quirks but nothing that was either serious or
dangerous. Otherwise, all became friendly, obliging, easy to
handle and, above all, would do anything you wanted from a long-distance
trek to competing.
From
working with my own horses, it was a short step to helping other
people solve the problems they had with their horses. And
the results were often miraculous. Seemingly impossible
horses turned into their owners' dream. Read
